Director & Mortgage Adviser
Ashleigh has worked in the property industry for over 18 years, initially as a junior negotiator and later as a valuer for estate agents. She spent several years in Dubai specialising in investment properties before returning to the UK in 2016.
She qualified as a mortgage adviser after completing her CeMAP exam and ultimately founded Riverside Mortgage Advice in 2023. She’s known for her down-to-earth approach, deep industry insight, and commitment to seeing clients through every stage.
Mortgage Adviser
Cheryl has been a mortgage adviser for over 10 years, with 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry overall. She’s passionate about helping clients navigate their mortgage journey and take real pride in seeing especially the more complex cases through to completion.
Outside of work, Cheryl enjoys watching football and is a dedicated Sunderland fan and season ticket holder. As well as keeping active at the gym, she loves spending time walking her dogs.
Mortgage Adviser
Erin has over six years of experience in the mortgage industry, having worked her way up from an administrative role to Head Administrator. She then completed her CeMAP qualifications and progressed to become a fully qualified Mortgage and Protection Adviser. Given her broad industry experience and comprehensive understanding of the mortgage process, Erin delivers personalised advice and support, ensuring clients feel informed and reassured every step of the way.
Outside of work, Erin enjoys socialising with family and friends, exploring the outdoors on long walks, and discovering new places to enjoy brunch.
Mortgage Adviser
Sophie brings 13 years of experience in financial services, from doing her apprenticeship in administration straight from school and then completing her CeMAP qualifications to become a Mortgage and Protection Adviser. She has helped many clients locally and nationally buy their first home, move house and invest in buy to let’s.
Sophie especially likes to help get first time buyers on the property ladder, guiding them through the full mortgage process from start to finish and hopefully making the process as stress free as possible for them.
Outside of work, Sophie enjoys nice meals out, coffee dates, seeing concerts and a holiday or two.
Administrator
James recently completed his Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Business. In his role, he helps clients navigate the administrative side of the journey, ensuring communications, paperwork, and processes run smoothly.
Outside work, he enjoys football, the gym, hiking and wild camping.
Office Dog
Yes, we have a resident canine adviser. Prince used to live in kennels and raced, but now he’s an integral part of Riverside Mortgage Advice. He spends his workdays dozing or greeting visitors (especially if they bring treats). Outside, he loves running on the beach, chasing squirrels, and café trips for sausages.
